Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned; Must understand and follow TS16949 and IATF16949 systems; Conduct visual inspection of components manufactured and keep production record; Make sure all operator records are turned in from the previous shift; Gather start-up samples; Give start-up samples and paperwork to QE for inspection and review; Complete paperwork for the shift; Parts are to be randomly inspected during the shift to ensure product quality; Direct all quality questions or concerns to the technician or the supervisor; Maintain production data by completing necessary paperwork; Ensure that all paperwork is complete (Includes the scrap report.); Remain at the job station until relieved by the next shift operator; Assists co-workers and team members as needed; Flexibility to work in a variety of jobs; Regular and predictable attendance; The ability to complete an assigned task in a safe manner and in a constant state of alertness and must understand and follow all safety rules; Is responsible for communicating and assisting fellow team members; Post production numbers to white board on an hourly basis; Check the work area to ensure necessary supplies such as labels, bags and boxes are available; Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; Observe safety and security procedures and reports potentially unsafe conditions; Is responsible for keeping work area clean and organized; Must be able to work in a cooperative manner with co-workers, supervisors, and others on Company premises; Work well under production pressures; Read and follow work instructions; Follow company policies and procedures; Perform repetitive work; Must work the days and hours necessary to perform all assigned responsibilities and tasks.
