Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary; Must understand and follow TS16949 and IATF16949 systems; The Mold Maintenance Technician is responsible for disassembling molds to perform preventive maintenance (cleaning, greasing, etc.); The Mold Maintenance Technician is responsible for correct assembly of molds after cleaning and greasing; The Mold Maintenance Technician is responsible for using crane in pulling mold or components from machine and placing in mold shop; The Mold Maintenance Technician is responsible for placing mold or components into molding machine and hooking up water or oil lines to molds; There are times the Mold Maintenance Technician will grease the mold and mold components in the machine; The Mold Maintenance Technician will follow all procedures and rules on their shift; The Mold Maintenance Technician is responsible for helping to analyze if mold or process condition is causing bad parts; The Mold Maintenance Technician is responsible for completing check sheets and other paperwork required in the mold shop; The Mold Maintenance Technician is responsible for correct assembly of molds when overhaul takes place; The Mold Maintenance Technician is responsible for correctly installing the mold, hooking up water /oil lines and hooking up hot-runner during changeovers; Interfaces with other team members in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met; Helps maintain tooling records and documents; The Mold Maintenance Technicians must be trained and understand IATF guidelines and must follow the IATF guidelines to ensure mold conditions produce quality product that meet our customer demands; Regular and predictable attendance; The ability to complete an assigned task in a safe manner and in a constant state of alertness and must understand and follow all safety rules; Must be able to work in a cooperative manner with co-workers, other supervisors, and others on Company premises; Work well under production pressures; Read and follow work instructions; Follows policies and procedures; Observes safety and security procedures. Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Responsible for keeping work area clean and organized; Must work the days and hours necessary to perform all assigned responsibilities and tasks; Perform other related duties as assigned.
