Webster Fulfillment is looking for Full Time and Part Time DTG (direct to garment) Machine Operators who are responsible for the production of graphic apparel on behalf of our e-Commerce retailers. This position will be 100% trained in DTG production, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. No experience is necessary! Direct to garment printing (DTG) uses inkjet printing technology to send full color designs directly from a computer to a digital printer with a garment loaded into it. With minimal training or experience, you can use our DTG printers to create high-quality printed garments at production level speeds. DTG printers typically have a platen designed to hold the garment in a fixed position, and the printer inks are jetted or sprayed onto the textile by the print head. A day in the life: Operate the DTG printer to customize apparel and other products with client-supplied designs; Manage computer files & update project statuses in order management software; Review and inspect print jobs on garments to ensure all orders are completed on time, and consistently meeting the company’s quality guidelines; Inspect print quality to ensure high-quality, accurate prints; Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping the work area neat and complying with safety procedures, rules, and regulations; Be available to assist in other areas of the facility, including inventory, shipping, and packaging when needed.
