Position Summary
The Stamping Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining stamping
machines to produce parts according to specifications, ensuring product quality, and
following all safety and operational procedures. This role works under the direction of the
Stamping Team Leader or Production Supervisor.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
1. Machine Operation & Setup
o Start up, configure, and perform changeovers for stamping machines.
o Execute tasks based on production orders, blueprints, and specifications.
2. Production Monitoring
o Conduct regular inspections of parts during production to verify
dimensions and appearance.
o Immediately report any defects or abnormalities to the supervisor.
3. Quality Control
o Perform work in accordance with quality standards to ensure product
accuracy.
o Propose improvements aimed at enhancing quality and yield.
4. Safety Compliance
o Strictly follow safety rules and work procedures, and wear PPE (personal
protective equipment).
o Maintain organization and cleanliness in the work area (5S activities).
5. Maintenance Support
o Perform daily inspections and scheduled maintenance.
o Report any machine abnormalities or malfunctions and assist with repair
work.
6. Reporting & Documentation
o Collect and accurately record KPIs (production records, adjustment
losses/costs, inspection results, etc.) and report them to the supervisor.
o Use Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook to create records and reports.
o Share information during shift handovers.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or higher (technical or industrial program preferred).
1+ year experience in manufacturing or metal stamping operations preferred.
Ability to read blueprints and experience using measurement tools.
Strong safety awareness and ability to work collaboratively in a team
environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Specialized certification in stamping machine operation.
Experience working in ISO9001 or IATF16949 environments.
Experience in Kaizen activities or proposing quality improvement measures.
Forklift operation experience.
