Summary Verifies and maintains records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares
items for shipment by performing the following duties
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned
Must understand and follow IATF16949 systems
Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and
outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records
Determines method of shipment that is cost effective for I-PEX and customers
Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons
Stamps, stencils, or glues identifying information and shipping instructions onto crates or
containers
Posts weights and shipping charges and affixes postage
Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and
corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages
Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications
Prepares UPS labels for freight
Prepares Bill of Landing for shipments
Operates forklift truck or uses hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and
receiving platform to storage or work area.
Assists with written procedures to follow IATF standards
Responsible for keeping warehouse and outside dock clean and organized
Looks for ways to improve and promote quality.
Must have regular and predictable attendance
Follows policies and procedures.
Responsible for keeping work area clean and organized.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); two to five years’ related experience
and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers,
common fractions, and decimals.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software;
inventory software; order processing systems; inventory management systems; spreadsheet
software and word processing software.
