Senior Production Engineering Specialist
Job Responsibilities
• Analyze production manufacturing management programs and network
requirements, procedures, and problems to improve systems.
• Train production staffing contractors on production automation to improve
production efficiency.
• Evaluate production equipment tooling performance and ensure preventive
maintenance for seamless operation.
• Enhance productivity through overhauls, involving disassembly, part replacement,
assembly, and calibration.
• Analyze and recommend improvement of automation machines and drive systems;
• Advise future production workers on the repair of production equipment and
develop strategies for minimizing production costs;
• Create production system models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to manage
software applications programs for products, based on client’s requirements;
• Design, code, test, and implement configuration changes to software applications of
production engineering to meet functional and technical requirements;
• Develop training programs for production staff on troubleshooting and repair of
automation machines;
• Ensure team members are skilled and knowledgeable about production methods,
software, and equipment;
• Analyze the company’s project requirements and procedures to improve production
engineering system efficiency;
• Design, construct, and manage effective production & engineering systems for
improvement of automotive components;
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards in all
production processes;
• Formulate and deploy long-term strategic plans, analyze operational costs to
maximize profitability, research, and make suggestions for the best methods of
providing production engineering to help and enable efficient and cost-effective
production processing methods and equipment;
• Checking their team’s work for technical accuracy
• Coordinating work with other managers and staff
Job Skills Requirements
• Proven work experience as an Engineering specialist or similar role
• Analytical skills for evaluating information carefully and solving complex problems
• Communication skills for overseeing staff and working with other management
personnel
• Detail-oriented with the ability to catch minor errors which can result in major problems
• Math skills, including calculus and other advanced mathematics
• Organizational skills for keeping track of various budgets, employees, and schedules
simultaneously
• Relevant training and/or certifications as an Engineering Specialist
• Skills to operation assembly line
Educational Requirements
− Business Administration or related field or equivalent education and experience
required
Experience Requirements
− Minimum of three years of manufacturing Engineering experience
Software Skills Required
− MS-Excel
− MS-PowerPoint
− MS-Word
− MS-Outlook
− CAD
− PLC SKILLS PREFEREED
− Department Specific Software as required
Other Information
− Position may require domestic or international travel.
− Flexibility in working hours to include nights, weekends and holidays as required.
− OT required as needed.
− Must be available to rotate to other shifts as needed.
