Position: Production Logistics Specialist
Responsibilities: Including but not limited to the following:
- Manage daily inbound and outbound shipments of finished goods to ensure on-time delivery to customers, with zero delays that could disrupt production lines.
- Oversee finished goods inventory transactions and stock levels, ensuring accuracy in ERP/MES systems and immediate availability for production or customer orders.
- Coordinate with sales and customer service teams to respond promptly to delivery inquiries, urgent shipment requests, and special handling requirements.
- Monitor and optimize warehouse operations, including storage layout, material staging, and equipment utilization, applying Lean and 5S principles to improve efficiency.
- Maintain and manage system master data related to logistics, inventory, and product information to ensure consistent and accurate operational execution.
- Manage and track delivery containers and returnable packaging, ensuring availability, condition, and timely return to suppliers or customers.
- Conduct first-, second-, and third-party audits of logistics processes and warehouse operations to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and maintain product supply system, coordinating preventive maintenance and ensuring safe, reliable operation for uninterrupted logistics flow.
- Analyze logistics performance and KPIs, including on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and equipment utilization, and prepare actionable reports for management.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Materials, Quality, and Purchasing teams to proactively resolve logistics issues that could impact production continuity or customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Engineering, or a related field, and at least 6 months of relevant experience in production logistics for automotive parts manufacturing.
