Job Title: MES Production Management Specialist
Shift: 7am-5:30pm (Monday-Friday)
Pay type: Salaried position
Job Descriptions:
Able to create and manage detailed production plans that align with customer demand, inventory
levels, and delivery deadlines.
Develop and maintain production project information in MES for controlling and recording
manufacturing process flows such as planned and actual costs, good movements from the
conversion of raw material to semi-finished goods.
Evaluate MES-based production systems and conduct system landscape for each department of
Pyongsan America.
Ensure production lines have the capacity to meet demand, balancing workloads and optimizing
resource allocation (machinery, workforce, etc.);
Document and maintain logs of identified performance problems, technical issues, repairs,
calibrations, and maintenance test results for equipment and machines.
Continuously monitor and assess manufacturing workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks,
or areas where cost savings can be made.
Monitor and control production costs, identifying areas where costs can be reduced without
compromising quality.
Measure and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production yield, efficiency,
scrap rates, and downtime.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data within the MES system, focusing on quality-related
information such as material specifications, quality control data, test results, and production
quality metrics.
Assist production staff and operators with the correct use of the MES and provide training on any
new features or updates.
Bachelor’s Degree or higher; and
Minimum one (1) year of experience in logistics and utilizing logistics management programs
such as ERP, SAP, and WMS in the automotive parts manufacturing industry.
Need to be efficient in the use of Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and other programs similar
in function.
