This company is a global automotive components manufacturer specializing in precision machining and automotive electronic parts. With growing partnerships with global OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers, the company is expanding its global manufacturing footprint and establishing a new production facility in the United States.
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the establishment and operation of our U.S. manufacturing subsidiary in Auburn, Alabama.

Key Responsibilities
U.S. Plant Establishment & Operations
路 Lead the establishment and operational setup of the U.S. manufacturing entity
路 Support factory construction, equipment installation, and production line setup
路 Build operational processes and organizational structures
Production & Plant Management
路 Oversee plant operations including production, quality, logistics, and safety
路 Stabilize automotive manufacturing operations and improve productivity
路 Implement quality and efficiency improvement initiatives
Customer & Business Management
路 Manage relationships with North American OEM and Tier-1 customers
路 Address customer issues related to quality, delivery, and technical matters
路 Ensure customer requirements are met and maintain strong partnerships
Headquarters Coordination
路 Maintain close communication with headquarters in Korea
路 Report operational performance and business status
路 Align U.S. operations with global strategies
Organization & Team Development
路 Recruit and build the local management team
路 Lead departments including production, quality, logistics, and HR
路 Establish a strong organizational culture and performance system
Compliance & Regulatory Management
路 Ensure compliance with U.S. labor laws and regulations
路 Manage safety and environmental compliance

Qualifications
路 Bachelor鈥檚 degree or higher
路 15+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing
路 Experience establishing or managing overseas manufacturing operations
路 Strong knowledge of production, quality, and logistics operations
路 Leadership experience managing large teams
路 Fluent English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
路 Experience establishing Greenfield manufacturing plants in the U.S.
路 Experience as Plant Manager or Country Manager in North America
路 Experience with automotive electronics, SMT, or automated assembly processes
路 Experience working with OEM or Tier-1 automotive customers
路 Experience collaborating with Korean headquarters
路 U.S. citizen or permanent resident preferred
路 Proficiency in Korean language preferred

Compensation & Benefits
路 Salary: Approximately $150,000 per year (negotiable based on experience)
