Position: Forklift Operator
Reports To: Logistics Manager
Responsibilities
1. Ensure they are pulling Raw Materials and Components in a FIFO order from Rack
2. Scan all Materials to each Work Order and sign off
3. Setup each machine with correct materials according to work order
4. 5s each machine with materials and pallets
5. Stage all empty bins for each machine
6. Move Finished Pallets into the correct lanes per part number in the Finished Good
Warehouse
7. Clean up the Scrap Area Each Hour or When full
8. Cube the Scrap Truck and ensure it is neat and filled to capacity
9. Communicate to Supply Chain Manager, Buyer and Planner when materials are low
10. Clean incoming bines from customers
11. Remove Labels from Bins and notify the supply chain office
12. May operate tier-lift truck or use hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from
shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area
13. FIFO Raw Material and Components
14. Inspect WIP and bring WIP to the WIP Area
15. Assist with Re-racking Raw Materials and Components
16. Warehouse Clean up
17. Weekly Inventory Count
18. End of Month Inventory Count
19. End of year inventory Count
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
2 or more years of previous warehouse experience
2 years previous forklift operating experience
Excellent organizational skills.
