Position: ERP Production Planning Specialist – Materials Management
Responsibilities: Including but not limited to the following:
Oversee the full cycle of material procurement, including purchase orders, vendor
communications, shipping logistics, and customs clearance for both domestic and international
suppliers.
Use the ERP system to create purchase orders, monitor deliveries, track transactions, and ensure
accurate financial postings for all material transactions.
Manage supplier performance, resolve discrepancies, and ensure the timely delivery of high-
quality automotive components to meet production schedules.
Handle international trade documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, import/export
compliance records) to ensure smooth customs clearance and compliance with regulatory
requirements.
Monitor inventory levels, analyze stock turnover, and collaborate with suppliers to maintain
optimal inventory levels to meet production demand.
Analyze procurement data in the ERP system to identify cost-saving opportunities, forecast
material demand, and support accurate budgeting and planning.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field AND at least 6 months of experience in
production planning, manufacturing management, and materials management, including
hands-on experience with ERP systems; and
Familiarity with inventory management, supply chain coordination, and supplier
management, preferably with experience in automotive parts manufacturing.
