Winkelmann Flowforming Technologies (Aerospace and Defense Manufacturer) in
Auburn, AL is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team on the off shift.
The days and times are flexible whether 2nd , 3rd , weekend or hybrid. The ideal candidate will be
responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts
according to specifications. This person will also be doing limited programming as trained. The
CNC Machinist will ensure high-quality production while maintaining safety and efficiency

Duties & Responsibilities:
Change tooling, setup machines, transfer programs to CNC modules. Limited programming as
trained.
Control coolant systems, clean and conduct routine maintenance on machines.
Perform manual and automated machining functions on lathes, mills, flowform, drill presses, etc.
Experience in the use of inspection and measuring equipment including micrometers and calipers
Identify equipment issues; aid in troubleshooting to resolve
Identify quality issues or damage to product; aid in troubleshooting to resolve
Aid in warehousing and/or forklift operations as needed, including receiving inventory
Ensures all non-conforming material is clearly identified, segregated and handled according to policy
Performs visual inspections, approves, documents properly, re-works, and escalated to Machining
Lead/Supervisor where applicable and by confirming specifications
Completes required documents for production and quality logs.
Follow all safety guidelines and standards for equipment and facility
Maintains an organized, clean and safe work environment
Performs other tasks and supports other production stations as needed or assigned by your Team
Leader/Supervisor
Requirements & Experience:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Apprenticeship or technical degree in CNC
Machining is preferred
Minimum 2 years of machining, metal fabrication, CNC Mills, Lathes or comparable experience.
Basic understanding of cutting tools, power tools, their uses and selections, speeds, etc.
Operating or programming experience with CNC mills and lathes using CAM software is preferred
Basic understanding of blueprints, technical drawings, machine specs, and precision measuring
devices, etc.
Mechanical aptitude and computer experience required
Forklift experience is preferred
Knowledge of a variety of metal materials and their machinability preferred
Competencies utilized: active listening, verbal and written communication, service orientation,
problem solving, time management, attention to detail, basic math and computer skills
