Must understand and follow ISO9001 and IATF16949 systems; Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confers with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability of standards; Selects products for tests at specified stages in production process, and tests products for variety of qualities to ensure that manufactured components meet or exceed customer expectations; Records test data, applying statistical quality control procedures; Evaluates data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards; Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability; Sets up and performs destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance, life, or material characteristics; Prepares graphs or charts of data or enters data into computer for analysis; Responsible for assisting I-PEX USA Manufacturing, Inc., with IATF implementation and on-going certification to include document control and quality procedures; Must be able to identify all the basic quality gauges and be able to use them. Example: height gage, force gage, micrometer, calipers, optical comparator, measuring microscope, jigs and pin gages; Must be able to perform basic gage calibration; Must be able to understand inspection standards; Operation and minor programming of CMM vision system; Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; Perform other related duties as required.
