Duties and Responsibilities – Follow and understand work instructions; Use visual aid and limit samples; Inspect own work, identifies common defects such as: short shots, splay, flash, etc.; Removes non-conforming products from the production stream and places these items in reject bin; Uses correct packaging and quantity of parts per work instruction; Correctly starts and completes all production forms; Attaches proper bar code labels to the correct packaging; Is responsible for keeping a clean and organized work space; Works at different stations as production requires; Places all first off and fixture parts from previous shift into correct area; Completes rework on all parts requiring such at end of shift; Enlists the assistance of the production supervisor/team leader when any part is in question regarding quality; Enlists the assistance of the production supervisor/team leader when machine shuts down due to mechanical issue; Follows all health and safety requirements while performing his/her job; Ensures housekeeping responsibilities are performed each day; Ensure that safety responsibilities are performed each day; Wears proper PPE at all times; Submits all required paperwork to the production supervisor at the end of the shift; Follows safety, OSHA and organization policies and practices; Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
