This person would own the whole materials process from coming into the door (purchasing, receiving) to scheduling/planning/inventory to outgoing (finished goods, shipping). This is more about owning the materials process rather than managing people. This role is key in providing production support and managing material flow in order to meet production schedules and customer requirements. Direct Hire Position with Excellent Benefits – The requirements for this Materials Manager / Supply Chain Manager position will include: Must have managed the materials, logistics, planning, inventory, purchasing, shipping/receiving and/or supply chain; Responsible for managing inventory to ensure parts availability through proper scheduling and communication within the supply chain; Bachelor’s Degree preferred or comparable experience; Manufacturing experience required. Aerospace or automotive preferred; Strong ERP and Excel skills a must; Must have 3+ years of materials, inventory, supply chain and/or production control; Results oriented, focused and attention to detail; Passion for continuous improvement, lean or six sigma preferred.
