Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, pipes, and electrical systems in facility. Provide assistance to fellow team members as required; Essential Duties and Responsibilities; Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions; Must understand and follow ISO9001 and IATF16949 systems; Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment; Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors, engineers, operators, or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem and to repair machine; Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts; Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery; Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment; Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment; Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment; Installs, programs, or repairs automated machinery and equipment such as robots or programmable controllers; Fabricates and repairs counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures; Conducts regularly scheduled preventive maintenance on all auxiliary equipment and molding machinery and documents the results; Responsible for working safely and following safety procedures and policies. Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Responsible for keeping work area clean and organized; Create and maintain written information concerning preventive maintenance and repairs to machinery. Maintain a log of machine downtime to include what happened, why, what caused the down time or problem and how was resolved. Presents numerical data effectively; The Maintenance Technician must be trained and understand IATF guidelines and must follow the IATF guidelines to confirm that all equipment and processes meet the IATF standards; Makes suggestions on how to work more efficiently and effectively; Follows policies and procedures; Meets productivity standards. Completes work in timely manner. Strives to increase productivity. Works quickly; All paperwork pertaining to maintenance must be completed in a timely manner; Works well under production pressures; Read and follow work instructions; Regular and predictable attendance; Must work the days and hours necessary to perform all assigned responsibilities and tasks; Perform other related duties as assigned.
