Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Main duty is to prepare, setup and perform functional and environmental testing of RAPA’s products as an internal service, mainly for Product Design Engineers and sometimes Quality or Production; Building and testing of prototypes; Accountable for maintenance and calibration of all R&D lab equipment; Planning and procurement of new lab equipment from simple hand tools to test rigs; Budget responsibility; Standardize laboratory activities between RAPA US and RAPA Germany; Responsible for cleanliness and tidiness of R&D lab; Support RAPA Germany activities towards ISO 17025 accreditation; Support series production in trouble shooting and failure root cause analysis; Perform LPAs at production lines; Other duties as assigned.
