AIM Experience
Twenty-five interns will be accepted from Auburn and twenty-five interns from Montgomery into the first AIM Experience program to show the valuable and fun experiences that you can have in the Auburn and Montgomery communities following graduation! We want to show you ways to LEARN, SERVE, and SOCIALIZE in Auburn and Montgomery and the reasons why these cities could be your next professional home.
Activities will be in Auburn and Montgomery with transportation provided for events outside of Auburn. There is no cost to be a part of this program, only your excitement and commitment to meet new people, see new things, and experience new adventures!
The application is short and simple with a requirement of a resume and a few questions to be answered. All activities will be during the week after your regular work hours schedule. Due to the cost and planning involved in the activities, we ask for at least 80% commitment to the activities with a commitment form we will sign at the first session.
In addition to the activities planned to show you great things about the communities, we have developed a “City Pass” that you will receive that gives discounts or free memberships to various downtown establishments and our City of Auburn recreational facilities.
Come be a part of the AIM Experience summer 2023!
Program Schedule and Regional City Pass
Exposure activities will be the primary method of programming to accomplish the goal of intern experiences. All activities will be done as a group with each respective city traveling to the other city of the planned activity by group transportation. Activities will be planned during the work week beginning not earlier than 5:30 p.m. unless a particular activity requires earlier travel. A collaborative City Pass will be designed to give each intern three discounted activities in each community such as an Auburn Downtown Merchants card, Discount to the Montgomery Biscuits games, Discounted or free limited time membership to each City’s recreational facilities, student discount to the Gogue performances.
