Job Title : Sales / ERP Sales Assistant manager

The Sales Assistant Manager will play a key role in understanding and representing the sales data landscape of the automotive company. They will coordinate all sales-related activities : prospecting within the automotive industry (analyzing sales figures, conducting market research, and monitoring industry trends), closing sales in the ERP system (data entry, lead tracking, order processing, generating sales reports, and other administrative or operational tasks that support the sales team), and managing customer relationships (responding promptly and accurately to sales-related inquiries). The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Market Research/Analysis:

Utilize historical data and market trends to generate accurate sales forecasts. Assist in setting realistic sales targets. Develop regular reports on sales trends, customer behavior, and market analysis while conducting market research to analyze the latest industry trends, competitor actions, and customer preferences.

Sales Performance & Strategy Management:

Manage sales processes by issuing invoice after entering sales data into the ERP system and tracking leads for smooth order processing. While managing ERP system regarding sales, delivery issues or customer claims occurs then resolve fast and ensure timely follow-up on accounts receivable. Collect, analyze, and interpret sales data to track performance against set targets, identify areas for potential growth. Continuously monitor sales performance, comparing actual results with forecasts, and recommend adjustments to strategies as needed to ensure alignment with the company’s sales objectives and promote ongoing improvement.

Internal Collaboration & Customer Relationship Support:

Maintaining long-term partnerships with customers requires resolving their inquiries and fostering strong relationships. This can be achieved by addressing issues through accurate information delivery and prompt communication. For accurate information, work closely with internal teams to update sales-related information (such as delivery container approvals, updated pricing, USMCA-related details, and claims) for customer sales activities and provide timely support.
